Eran las dos de la madrugada. El viento rugía y azotaba con furia la frágil estructura de la cabaña, amenazando con desmontar la puerta de sus goznes y hacer estallar las delgadas ventanas. Las vigas crujían, las paredes vibraban, y el techo tiritaba y tiraba de los clavos que lo sujetaban precariamente en su lugar. Dentro de la cabaña, el área habitable estaba ocupada casi en su totalidad por un catre de madera habilitado con una incómoda colchoneta de espuma y delgadas sábanas que no proporcionaban refugio ni consuelo alguno contra el inclemente clima. There's an old man sitting on a bench in the park. A scruffy dog by his feet, on his lips a witty remark. Not a tooth in his mouth, but he smiles anyway.
